Overview
Cockburn Sound is the premier sheltered cruising area for Perth sailors. Protected by Garden Island, the Sound offers multiple anchorages with sand bottoms, calm seas, and excellent holding.
It’s a favourite summer escape when the Fremantle Doctor makes offshore waters rough.
