Overview
Parker Point is one of Rottnest Island’s most iconic bays, famous for its bright turquoise water, white sand, and snorkeling. It’s a popular daytime anchorage located on the island’s south-eastern side.
Anchorage
- Bottom: Sand and reef
- Protection: Good in light easterlies; exposed to anything with south in it
- Swell: Often wraps into the bay — expect rolling in SE winds
Things to do
- Snorkel the swim-through limestone caves
- Explore the underwater snorkel trail
- Walk the Parker Point boardwalk for panoramic views
- Spot large schools of herring and surgeonfish
