Beneteau Oceanis 390 – Proven Liveaboard Cruiser

Oasis is a 1989 Beneteau Oceanis 390, a well-maintained cruising yacht that has spent many years exploring the Whitsundays and is comprehensively equipped for extended coastal cruising or comfortable liveaboard living.

Oceanis 390s of this era are widely regarded as robust, capable cruising yachts, with many sailors considering them stronger and better suited to offshore passages than many later production models. With a practical layout, generous accommodation and numerous recent upgrades, Oasis is ready for her next adventure.

Recently slipped and antifouled, the yacht also benefits from new standing and running rigging fitted in 2025, providing added confidence for extended cruising.

Accommodation

The spacious interior comfortably accommodates up to eight people and features:

• Forward double cabin

• Two aft double cabins

• Two enclosed bathrooms

• Hot and cold shower plus transom shower

• L-shaped galley with twin stainless steel sinks

The galley is well equipped for extended cruising with:

• Eutectic refrigeration (new compressor fitted December 2020)

• Two-burner gas stove with grill

• Engine or 240V heated hot water system

Engine & Systems

Powered by a 40hp Volvo D2-40F diesel, installed new in 2012, the engine has approximately 820 hours and drives a shaft with a three-blade feathering propeller. A recent engine oil and fuel system service has also been completed.

• Fuel capacity: 175L stainless steel tank (removed and cleaned in 2021)

• Water capacity: 650L across three tanks

• Solar power with inverter

• Three 12V batteries

The yacht is equipped with an excellent cruising electronics package including:
