Description:

"Dragon Lady" is a beautiful traditional 10.1m clipper rigged ketch designed by Bill Luders who built the America's Cup yacht that beat Australia's "Gretel". Built in fibreglass in 1982, she is a proven seaworthy yacht having sailed the waters between Hong Kong and Melbourne since her launch. Her current ownership has spanned 23 years during which time she has been well maintained. Her decks have been totally redecked in Burmese teak, a new Yanmar 3MY30 engine has been installed and the main and mizzen sails replaced. There is an MPS (spinnaker) in addition to the main, mizzen, yankee and staysail. The standing rigging is only 3 years old having been replaced in 2020 and the hull anti-fouled in February. Her instrumentation includes 2 radios, a depth sounder and GPS. Safety equipment includes fire extinguishers, flares, harnesses, tethers and lifejackets. "Dragon Lady" sleeps 4. The teak lined V berth has full headroom. The marine toilet is connected to a holding tank. Fuel storage is 115 litres and consumption averages 1.6 litres per hour at 5 knots. Water storage is 380 litres in 2 tanks. She is currently at home in Iluka (northern NSW) but I would be happy to deliver her to any buyer along the NSW or southern Qld coast.
