Papillon II is a John Pugh–designed 39-foot cutter, built for serious offshore sailing. She has been carefully maintained, extensively upgraded, and is ready to sail immediately.

This yacht has completed many thousands of ocean miles, cruising the Australian coastline, sailing into Indonesian waters, and most recently completing a successful passage from Port Lincoln to Tasmania. She is a genuine blue water boat with a strong track record.

RECENT REFIT – NOVEMBER 2025

Recently relaunched following a comprehensive haul-out in November 2025, with key systems renewed for long-term reliability:

• Below-waterline upgrades: All through-hulls and seacocks replaced with modern high-strength composite (TruDesign-style), eliminating corrosion concerns.

• Propulsion serviced: Autostream feathering propeller serviced and stern tube dripless shaft seal replaced.

• Fresh antifoul: Applied during the latest haul-out.

• Hull protection: In recent years the hull was grit-blasted and epoxy coated, providing an excellent moisture barrier and durable finish.
