Designed by renowned naval architect John Pugh, this steel cutter-rigged ketch was purpose-built for serious offshore and tropical cruising. With its heavy-duty 6mm steel hull, single chine design and Category B (Offshore) rating, she is well suited to extended coastal passages and bluewater adventures.
A professional Condition and Valuation Report completed in July 2025 valued the vessel at $88,000.
Measuring 11.5 metres in length with a 3.7 metre beam and 1.7 metre draft, she offers a comfortable and practical cruising layout, sleeping up to six people. Accommodation includes a private aft cabin with a custom-made double mattress, two saloon berths, and a convertible dinette that creates an additional double berth. The interior features attractive Oregon timber finishes with new upholstery throughout, while 240V split-system air conditioning keeps both the saloon and aft cabin comfortable in warmer climates.
Power is provided by a reconditioned 36HP Volvo Penta three-cylinder diesel engine with approximately 140 hours since rebuild, coupled to a Volvo MS2 gearbox and a three-bladed fixed-pitch propeller. The vessel was slipped and antifouled in July 2025 and features a new shaft seal fitted in 2019, along with nine hull, rudder and shaft anodes.
Electrical power comes from three deep-cycle batteries charged via the engine alternator and four solar panels mounted above the davits. A large 1,000-litre diesel tank is built into the keel, with the current owner also using a portable fuel tank system.
The yacht is well equipped for cruising and navigation with a B&G Zeus 3S chartplotter, Navionics charts, NAC-3 autopilot, HS60 satellite compass, RF25 rudder feedback, WS320 wireless wind sensor, Halo20+ radar, AIS transceiver with splitter, and an Icom M-200 VHF radio.
Sail handling is straightforward with a Profurl roller furling headsail system. The sail wardrobe includes a mainsail, jib, mizzen and a large Code C sail. Custom shade sails and cockpit canvas provide excellent protection while at anchor or underway.
Additional features include an electric marine toilet with macerator, twin freshwater tanks with pressure pump, new stainless-steel gas stove and oven, stainless-steel BBQ, CD/radio stereo, Muir Cheetah electric anchor windlass with a 20kg plough anchor and new galvanised chain, engine bay bilge pump with float switch, safety equipment including lifejackets, lifebuoys and fire protection, plus charts and numerous cruising extras.
The sale also includes a Highfield inflatable tender fitted with a near-new 4HP Mercury outboard, making this a well-equipped vessel that's ready to cast off and start cruising.
