Van De Stadt 32

This 32ft Van de Stadt is a solid and practical cruising yacht, offering comfortable accommodation, straightforward systems and a useful inventory for coastal cruising and weekends on the water.

Launched in 1980, she features a fibreglass/GRP hull, 9.75m overall length, 1.6m draft and approximately 6.5-tonne displacement.

Power is provided by a Volvo Penta inboard diesel with shaft drive, showing approximately 1,800 engine hours. Cruising speed is around 4 knots, with a maximum speed of approximately 6 knots. Fuel capacity is 115 litres, with a further 115 litres of fresh water.

Below deck, the port-side galley includes a two-burner gas stove, stainless-steel sink, ice box and hot and cold water. A hot-water system is fitted, along with a recently installed pump toilet.

Recent entertainment upgrades include a 24-inch flat-screen Smart TV and Fusion Bluetooth sound system.

Electronics include Raymarine auto-tiller equipment and a Navman chartplotter. The electrical system is supported by one engine-start battery and three house batteries.

Safety equipment includes flares, a fire blanket, bilge pumps and a life raft. The life raft is due for servicing.

The mooring is reported to be in good condition. The yacht is currently due for antifouling, giving the next owner an opportunity to complete the below-water maintenance as part of preparing her for the coming season.
